About Dr. Matov

Dr. Inna Matov Gluhovsky earned her Doctoral and Master's degrees in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.  Dr. Matov completed her pre- and post-doctoral internships at San Francisco Department of Public Health where she obtained extensive training in brief and long-term psychodynamically-informed psychotherapy under direct supervision of Dr. Raul Moncayo, a prominent Lacanian psychoanalyst. She has worked with geriatric clients at the Institute on Aging and with incarcerated individuals at San Francisco Jail Psychiatric Services. Dr. Matov has accumulated significant experience treating adults with mood and anxiety disorders, emotional trauma and relationship issues, and helping them navigate stressful life transitions and explore their deeper self. She is a compassionate and sensitive therapist who believes that no matter what life throws at us, every situation gives one an opportunity for self-growth and understanding and realizing one’s fullest potential. Dr. Matov is a member of American Psychological Association and a participant at Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis.

Additionally, Dr. Matov is fluent in Russian and welcomes Russian-speaking therapy clients.
